Sydney’s Julia Nobis has enjoyed an exceedingly busy 2011. Her credits this year include an Australian Vogue cover, an Oyster cover, a Shakuhachi film, a runway appearance for Chanel (among others), a Proenza Schouler campaign and lookbooks for local faves Arnsdorf and Yeojin Bae. Her most impressive credit to date however is the above AW 11/12 Balenciaga campaign lensed by Steven Meisel. Hardly a surprise considering she’s walked for the brand before and divulged the news to Harper’s BAZAAR back in May, but still, what a coup! The image has now hit the web thanks to a preemptive blog strike from Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière who will also release a behind-the-scenes video in the not too distant future.
