Jeremy Scott’s Mickey Mouse Inspired Collection

If in some alternative Universe Mickey Mouse actually existed (unlikely I know, but go with me) and in that alternative Universe he was not the faithful partner of Minnie but a flamboyantly camp, club frequenting, self-referencing clothing designer (even more unlikely) his collection may look a little something like this.

Between capes constructed from Mickey’s hands to high-tops bearing Mickey’s visage, the inspiration behind Jeremy Scott‘s latest collection was certainly thinly veiled. fashion’s King of pop culture once again straddling the line between gaudy and genius with no reservation whatsoever and producing some pieces that are sure to be highly coveted. Take the red shorts in the above picture for example, as cheesy as they are (no pun intended) I’d totally buy them and pretend to be Mickey Mouse in everyday life. Is that weird?
