Disney & Vans Have Launched A Collab Because Look, The Mouse Is Grouse

For some reason, Mickey Mouse is the most fashion-relatable character in Disney‘s repertoire. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s so iconic – he’s the oldest character they have, so perhaps it’s natural that we’ve emblazoned him on everything fashion-related for decades.

I personally had a Sportsgirl Mickey Mouse tee when I was 12 that I wish a) still fit me and b) even existed still, bc it was fire. It would go nicely with these Disney X Vans sneaks, that I now need in my life on a deep spiritual level.

They’re  – along with that tee – a part of the new Disney x Vans Mickey Mouse collaboration, a celebration of the character’s 90th anniversary. Vans enlisted the help of notable artists John Van Hamersveld, Mister Cartoon, Geoff McFetridge and Taka Hayashi to put their hand to the iconic mouse and come up with modern takes on his aesthetic.

The four sets of sneaker designs are on the OG Sk8-Hi LX, and each have an accompanying tee.

You can cop the wares in Australia at Up There Store, Highs and Lows and Laced now – or sign up for the Vans online drop here.
