When it comes to big budget fashion advertisements it would seem that limbs, anatomic fidelity and logic are as expendable commodities. I say this because I’ve seen a few Harry Potter films and I’m pretty sure Emma Watson, the young actress who plays Hermione Granger, possesses both her legs.
So…unless there’s been a horrific Quidditch accident that we’re currently unaware of, the people at Burberry (who Watson modeled for last year) have forgotten to account for her right leg in their new Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign. Sheesh.
Insert some kind of magic joke here.
One wonders how whopping oversights such as this are committed in an industry as detail orientated as fashion but hey, at least it’s less offensive than this.
