The pending collaborative collection of Dion Lee, one of Australia’s most talented designers, and high street retailer Cue has been one we’ve been eagerly anticipating. The meeting of these two brands makes a lot of sense aesthetically; both labels share a focus on fashion-forward tailoring, a strong structural element to clothes, interesting but highly functional cuts that women want to wear. Pedestrian recently caught up with Dion to talk about how the collaboration came about (“I just sent them an email”), what he learned from working with such a large brand, as well as talking us through some of the key pieces of the collection – which is just fabulous.
