Leave it to absolute superstar Celeste Barber to make us smile during these troubling times as she walked her first runway at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) on Thursday.

Barber walked in Runway 3 at VAMFF, which showcased a handful of Aussie designers including Aje, Ginger & Smart, Jason Grech, Manning Cartell, Matin, Rachel Gilbert, Rebecca Vallance, SIR, and Viktoria + Woods.

The comedian, whose Instagram is dedicated to taking the absolute piss out of high fashion photoshoots and models, did not disappoint.

Let us begin with some glorious photos from the runway, courtesy of VAMFF.

I am obsessed with everything about this next picture. Barber wears the Rachel Gilbert Jade Dress in black, which you can suss out right here. The dress also comes in rosewater, ivory, and scarlet.

For her second look, Barber wore a shimmery number by Ginger & Smart. Shop the label’s pre-fall 2020 collection here.

And now for some snippets from the runway.

This is simply glorious content.

If you’re lucky, you might be able to catch Barber’s IG story from the event – including some backstage goodies – before it expires. A couple of the videos feature Barber rehearsing her fabulous walk in her hotel room. It is a laugh and a half, tell ya what.

Aside from blessing VAMFF with her presence, Barber will speak at the Australian Fashion Summit today. The legend will discuss Who Really Has Influence Today with the session’s host Glynis Traill-Nash.

Wishing you all a very spooky Friday the 13th, my friends. Stay safe, wash your hands.
