The long tradition of Bonds underwear has seen a line of wholesome ambassadors donning the brand’s trademark sturdy, cotton briefs. But they’ve taken a slightly less whitebread, more racy angle in more recent campaigns – with the Winter 2010 catalogue featuring the spectacular brown limbs of Pania Rose and for their next campaign they’ve snagged none other than Catherine McNeil.
McNeil’s Australian agency Chic Management has just released a sneak preview of the pics.
Queensland-born McNeil is a regular on international runways and fronting blue-chip brand campaigns and it’s great to see such a high-profile model getting behind a classic Australian brand: “I like to be able to support Australian fashion when I can,” she said, “I’m glad to join the [Bonds] pack now, anyone would want to belong to that club.”
