Australian swimwear favourite Seafolly have released a behind the scenes video preview of the forthcoming 2012 campaign featuring the lovely Catherine McNeil. The shoot, photographed by David Gubert, is the first major Australian based campaigns that the model has taken on since her hiatus from the fashion world in 2010. She explains the break was a necessary change she needed to put a stronger focus on her personal life.
“I needed to take a step back so that I could understand who I am and learn more about myself,” she said. “Having that time was crucial for me to find myself, I was 13 when I started modelling, quite blessed that my career took off so quickly but once I left home I needed to act as an adult.”
McNeil says the break gave her a new lease on her career: “I went back to modeling with an excitement appreciation and happiness.” Based on the footage below we’d say she’s well and truly back on her A game.
