Alice Dellal For Chanel ‘Boy’ + Karl Lagerfeld For i-D

Stop sharing whatever viral video you’re sharing. This is Important Stuff here as Brazilian model and half-head-shaven socialite turned Chanel muse, Alice Dellal, appears in the new campaign for the haus of haus’ handbag line ‘Boy’ lensed by the ex-fatty turned fattyphobe, Kaiser Karl. Karl also appears on the latest cover of i-D, for the mag’s ‘Royalty Issue’. The token one-eyed cover seems really apt for Lagerfeld: who else could make social myopia so chic?

Lagerfeld’s latest muse – inspiring his Spring 2012 punk haute couture collection – is something of a rough and tumble departure from previous Chanel muses, including Our Nicole, Audrey Tautou and Keira Knightley. Heck even Blake ‘Those Aren’t My iPhone Boobs’ Lively falls into the same league. Dellal then is another bouclé beast entirely.

The kohl-eyed beauty has previously fronted campaigns for Agent Provocateur and drums for a band called Thrush Metal, who started their own record label Sweet Dick Music.

Sweet Dick Music to our ears. Check out Dellal’s slightly more demure (and kinda snoozy) campaign below. She actually fell asleep (fashion asleep). Kinda wish she’d brought some thrush metal to this campaign.
