A Group of Enviro Activists Tore Shit Up On One Of Trump’s Golf Courses

A group of environmentalists have gone to town on one of Donald Trump‘s prized golf courses early on Sunday morning, leaving a message carved in six foot tall letters on the green.

In what was surely a missed opportunity to write something much funnier – or, at the very least, much clearer in intent – the anonymous collective elected to go for the slogan “NO MORE TIGERS. NO MORE WOODS” which I’m sure seemed clever at the time.
This all went down at one of Trump’s top courses – the National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, considered among the top 50 golf courses in the United States. There’s video of the group doing it, filmed in suitably guerilla, balaclava’d style:
The group said the message was intended as a response to the Trump administration’s disregard for the environment:
In response to the president’s recent decision to gut our existing protection policies, direct action was conceived and executed on the green of his California golf course in the form of a simple message: NO MORE TIGERS. NO MORE WOODS.

They also said they had to descend down a steep hill covered in cacti to get to that section of the green, which they then carved up with simple gardening tools. Don’t ever say people don’t suffer for their art.

Look, at least the letters are pretty neat.
