A 24K Gold Doughnut Just Landed In Australia So Prep Your Instagram Posts

If you like yourself some doughnuts on occasion (lol, does anyone not?) listen up. I know there’re loads of joints making weird, wild sugary circles of bread all over Oz. Crazy doughnuts are not a new concept. But have you ever tried one coated in 24K gold leaf?? Can you even call yourself a doughnut aficionado if you haven’t??

That’s exactly what Melbs bakery Goldeluck’s Bakeshop have thrown on their menu this week. Technically, they’re a “dossant” – a cross between a croissant and a doughnut, similar to a cronut. But that’s semantics. What’s important is they’re sugary, doughy and covered, like completely covered in 24k gold leaf. Goldeluck’s are even going so far as to claim that it might be the first gold croissant-doughnut ever. So now you have to give it a whirl just to say you did.
They’re called 24K Magic Dossants, and they’ll set you back $10, which is pretty decent considering they’re covered in gold flakes. Want in? Check out their site here – they’re available right now, so you could also just head on down. Goldeluck’s don’t just offer these bad boys, by the way. They’ve got plenty of those OTT doughnuts that make snack time a million times more exciting, like these fairy floss creations:
Wish you could coat all your food in 24K gold flakes like some life boss? Same. If you enter our current comp thanks to Set for Life, you could find yourself with $20k in your pocket – that’s enough to buy all of Melbourne 24K Magic Dossants. Maybe. Enter here:
