Today in definitive proof our fans are better than your fans: over two thousand members of the red and black bloc – armed with banners, drums and enthusiasm – made their way to Sydney Airport last night to welcome home their cup winning Western Sydney Wanderers.
Much of the team, returning home after a controversial 1-0 aggregate victory over Saudi opponents Al Hilal to win the Asian Champions League, acknowledged the moment as one of the sweetest in their sporting careers.
