
Some purists will tell you that the doubles match is really a kind of failed form of tennis which cannot capture the pure artistry of a game of singles. And sometimes it’s easy to agree with them: it rarely captures the kind of liquid ballet of a really great one-on-one rally.
But sometimes it all clicks, and this set, starring Australia‘s John Peers and Finland‘s Henri Kontinen playing at the ATP World Tour Finals in London just proves it.
