Congratulations to the presumably very moist and otherwise anonymous person whose job it is to don the Sydney Kings’ mascot suit and attempt backwards half-court shots every week with a very low success rate and whose perseverance paid off during their weekend clash with the Woollongong Hawks (86-83) when they finally landed said shot.
Apparently it’s only the third time in twenty years that the mascot has tasted sweet success in that department. Kudos, person in the lion suit; very chill, very impressive.
