Displaying the type of high intensity mental focus not seen since Bernard Tomic’s last visit to Sin City: The Nightclub, Canberra phenom Nick Kyrgios saved nine match points and came back from two sets to love down to stave off Wimbledon elimination and claim a memorable win over 13th seeded Frenchman, Richard Gasquet.
After he dropped the first two sets, the youngest man in the entire tournament recovered spectacularly to triumph 3-6 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 7-5 10-8 in a match which lasted three hours and 53 minutes. Your new favourite Australian tennis player now advances to the third round of the tournament where he faces 20 year old Czech player, Jiri Vesely.
