Earlier today, Shane Warne and his mystery balls inspired a dead-set internet campaign to couple him up with Emily Ratajkowski, when his thirsty comment on her recent Instragram selfie birthed the hashtag #GiveShaneAGo.
TODAY‘s ‘Sunday Jury’ segment reported on this turn of events, but the panel’s comments weren’t exactly kind to Warnie, and he was likened to the guy who sits at the end of the bar spouting cheesy pickup lines, “hoping that one of them will work.”
At one point, he was referred to as “creepy Uncle Warnie who hugs too tight”, which … yeah, no matter how you slice it is pretty gross.
Evidently, Warne saw the TODAY segment and was none-too-happy about it, taking to Twitter a short time ago to blast the program and the whole story as “rubbish journalism.” “I’m doing just fine thanks, single & happy !!!!” he added.

If we don’t have the new Brangelina on our hands with Warnajkowski, then at least we have the coming Shane Warne miniseries to look forward to.
