Your favourite new premature celebrator (what’s up Nick Young?) Eloy Teruel was on the penultimate lap of the Tour of California in Pasadena, CA over the weekend when when he raised his arms in victory thinking he’d won the race. Sadly for the bullish Spaniard, he didn’t.
As polite British commentator #1 notes: “That is a shame, it’s one lap to go my friend.”
