NRL Community Pays Tribute To Chad Robinson After Family Confirms His Death

Last night, Chad Robinson‘s family confirmed the tragic news that his body had been found, after the former NRL player had been missing for almost a month.

They issued a statement via the ‘Let’s find Chad Robinson‘ Facebook page, confirming the 36-year-old’s death.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Chad’s body has been found this afternoon… There are no words for our whole family’s loss and especially his two beautiful kids. Thank you everyone of you for your support the last few weeks. Brother you were the world to all of us, I can’t imagine life without you.”

Robinson had been missing since November 28, after he left his home barefoot without his phone or wallet.

On Thursday afternoon, electricity workers discovered his body in the wreckage of his car at the bottom of a forge in Kenthurst, north of Sydney.

The NRL community is in shock and devastation.

“The Parramatta Eels are devastated by the news of the tragic loss of Chad Robinson, Blue and Gold player number 617,”
said Eels CEO Bernie Gurr in a statement.

“Chad was a much loved local junior, first grade player and valued teammate at our Club.

“Chad will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time.”

Tributes for the former player are flowing in from across the NRL community.
