LeBron James & Kyrie Irving Rocked A Water Bottle Challenge Mid-NBA Game

Hi there. You know, we’ve had a lot of fun this year, what with our love of various challenges and trends and whatnot. The Mannequin Challenge. The Running Man. Dabbing. Reminding people named Daniel that it was, in fact, them who were back at it again.
But out of all ’em, we had the most fun with the water bottle challenge. You know the one. It all started back in May with the flip that just about broke the onlines.

That’s how you do it, son.

Since then the world has been obsessed with the idle task of flipping a half-full water bottle on to its normal upright position.
Partly because of the online kudos and the mania of getting swept up in a fad. And partly because it’s one of those magnificently annoying motions that can easily suck away more than a few idle hours.
Case in point, the Cleveland Cavaliers travelled to New York to take on the forever-struggling Knicks at Madison Square Garden earlier today, delivering them an Ohio-style walloping to the tune 126-94.
But the game wasn’t the most interesting part of the show. What was was the action on the Cleveland bench once the result was far beyond doubt.
With starters LeBron James and Kyrie Irving safely rested on the bench and under a minute to go in the game, a rogue water bottle became the target of their attentions, with both James and Irving having a crack at making that sumbitch stand upright. Even to the point where they spilled onto the court floor.

But, much like on the court where he posted a game-high 28 points, it was Irving who managed to take home individual honours with this picture-perfect flip:

That’s gotta count for at least 2 more points, surely.
Making buckets / getting bottles.
