Jarryd Hayne and Chris Gayle don’t seem to have that much in common, apart from, yaknow, being elite athletes and sharing “ay” in the middle of their surnames.
That didn’t stop the unlikely duo from meeting up today in Coogee and sharing an unfuckwithable handshake.
It’s been a turbulent few weeks for the both of ’em, so this may have just been a decent chance to unwind. Still, Hayne’s comment referencing Gayle’s recently televised fuckup is def worth noting.
Long-time readers – hell, even if you picked up on PEZ in the last week – will recognise that these two figures have, at times, occupied different ends of the adulation spectrum. Seeing them here, together? With the San Francisco 49er himself schooling the cricketer on how Aussie sheilas deserve to be treated? Well, it’s almost too much.
