Jarryd Hayne Cops It Over Snapchats Of Him Partying With An Alleged Bikie

It’s been a strange few months for “The Bigg Dogg™Jarryd Hayne.

The former NRL, former NFL, former Rugby 7s, and now current NRL player has been back playing professional sport in Australia for little more than a month or so and already the wolves are circling.
After a string of acrimonious on-field outbursts of frustration, Hayne is today being circled by the NRL’s ever-present Integrity Unit after a series of social media videos surfaced over the weekend reportedly showing him partying with an alleged bikie.
The Snapchat videos, obtained “exclusively” by NewsCorp and watermarked to within an inch of their life, shows Hayne and alleged Hell’s Angels member Chris Bloomfield together at a party, and again in the back of a car, on Saturday night following the Titans’ Friday night loss to the Brisbane Broncos.

The video that seems to show Bloomfield showing off a wad of cash he claims “Haynesy just gave me” is the subject of the official investigation by the league this morning. The Titans and the NRL confirmed that Hayne is under investigation for the incident in a short joint statement issued earlier this morning.

“The Gold Coast Titans and the NRL Integrity Unit have been made aware of a video that is circulating which features Titans player Jarryd Hayne and briefly Nene Macdonald. We are liaising with the Integrity Unit and the players over the matter and have no further comment until those discussions are completed.”

Bloomfield, who is a former Gold Coast Titans under-20s player, is alleged to be an enforcer for the Hell’s Angels, according to Queensland Police’s anti-bikie squad Taskforce Maxima. He is currently facing charges of assault and extortion.

The videos, which were sent from Bloomfield’s Snapchat account to “close friends,” come on the heels of a string of incidents involving NRL players publicly hanging out and partying with known or accused criminals. The NRL and NSW Police have repeatedly warned players against it.
The league’s investigation continues today.
