Bernard Tomic Arrested After Miami Penthouse Party

The Jon Snow of Tennis Australia, Bernard Tomic—doesn’t fit in, perpetually entangled in trouble, knows nothing, etc—has been arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest at a luxe AF hotel in Miami overnight, following noise complaints lodged over his penthouse party, ABC reports

Tomic was allegedly “pointing his finger aggressively towards” security guards before his 5:00AM arrest at the W South Beach Hotel, and continued to play loud music despite complaints. After hotel security called police, Tomic allegedly refused to leave his room, after which he was arrested for trespassing on the property.

A certified Sherlock at the Miami Police Department deduced, “It is believed he was under the influence of some type of alcohol.” This dude? Under the influence? Nah mate.

Tomic’s mugshot shows him thinking a lot about his life, his choices.

The news closely follows the increasing drama engulfing the tennis star back on home soil – a scathing attack on Tennis Australia and Pat Rafter during a Wimbledon presser last week—where he called out Tennis Australia’s “lack of support” and “no respect” toward him—led to a heated rally: Tennis Australia booted Tomic off Australia’s Davis Cup team; Tomic’s family later threatened to sue the organisation for referring to Tomic’s match in the Hall Of Fame Championships as the “Hall Of Shame” Championships.

After being booked at 5:30 AM yesterday Miami time, Tomic reportedly stayed in the facility until 5:40 PM that afternoon. His bond was US$2000.
