Tennis coach and father of Aussie player, John Tomic has allegedly assaulted his son’s hitting partner, Frenchman Thomas Drouet. The assault takes the unorthodox form of not an uppercut or punch, but a HEADBUTT. While we could lol at this til the cows come home, because what kind of person gets angry and selects a headbutt as their damage approach, John Tomic is a repeat offender and to laugh this off would mean, in part, that we support this sort of behaviour.
To be clear, we don’t. John has since come under scrutiny for apparently striking his son Bernard at a practice session last Tuesday— which was the source of an altercation between Drouet and J Tomic, in turn provoking the headbutting.
FoxSports assert that Drouet was bleeding from the nose, lips and face. Tomic was apparently jailed following his arrest.
