Men’s tennis matches can drag on for a punishingly long time – at the 2012 final of the Australian Open, it took five hours and 53 minutes of gruelling play for Novak Djokovic to defeat Rafael Nadal.
HBO’s new mockumentary 7 Days In Hell pushes the concept to its very limit, with a pair of tennis rivals smashing it out in a record-breaking week-long match.
The one-off special stars Andy Samberg and Kit ‘Jon Snow’ Harrington as the two players locked in the lengthy back-and-forth, and features cameos from a number of actual tennis legends.
The cast also includes Lena Dunham, Karen Gillan, Michael Sheen and Mary Steenburgen, alongside Samberg’s former SNL castmates Will Forte and Fred Armisen.
