Earlier this week, Bolt captured our hearts and attention when he knocked World No. 30 Gilles Simon out of the Open after an insane five-setter.

Despite losing the first set 2-6, Bolt took the second 6-4, setting up a nail-bitter of a match. He even saved four match points in the fourth set to take it to five. The final scorecard sat at 2-6, 6-4, 4-6, 7(10)-6(8), 6-4.

Hear the roar.

“This is the best thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. To have everyone behind me tonight they really got me over the line. Thank you to everybody for sticking around,” Bolt told Aussie tennis legend Sam Groth in his post-match interview.

A wildcard entry, Bolt recently celebrated his first-ever win at a Grand Slam tournament when he defeated America‘s Jack Sock in the first round of the Open.

What a bloody babe.

Tonight, Bolt will come face to face with 21-year-old Zverev, the bloke who beat current World No. 1 Novak Djokovic at the elite Nitto ATP Finals in November of last year… which as you can imagine, is no easy feat.

Bolt has one hell of a night ahead of him but either way, we’re going to be as proud as punch.

Tonight’s clash, taking centre court on Rod Laver Arena, is scheduled for a 7:00pm start on Channel 9.
