We all love to brag about how much we adore our fur babies who we would do anything for – but would you fight a BEAR for them?? Because a teen on TikTok did, and the footage is wild.
A TikToker called Brenda Lopez Rincon, who is the cousin of our hero in question, uploaded a TikTok on Monday showing 17-year-old Hailey Morinico literally *shoving a bear* to save her beloved pooches.
The video shows a mama bear and her adorable little cubs walking along a fence down the side of the house – at first it’s cute, but then four dogs come running up to the bear and bark at it excitedly. Obviously, the cubs freak out and run away, but the mama bear goes into protective mode and swipes at the dogs as they leap and bark at her. She then grabs one of the smaller dogs and pulls it toward her.
Hailey, serving some real queen-shit energy, can then be seen running toward the bear, throwing herself forward and literally yeeting it off the fence before scooping up her pup and running back to the house.

TikTok users were super impressed with the complete lack of fear, with one person commenting “she’s on my team for the zombie apocalypse!”
Hailey’s family were pretty shocked at her actions, with Brenda describing her to Buzzfeed as a shy and sweet gal who “normally wouldn’t hurt a fly.” Welp, flies wouldn’t threaten your pups now, would they?
“I felt a mixture of shock and a little proud of her because of how brave she is,” Brenda told Buzzfeed.
“We immediately told her to NEVER do that again.”
In a follow up TikTok, Hailey explains that seeing bears around is pretty normal where she lives. Shoving one, though? Not so much.

She describes hearing the dogs barking, which is unlike them, and then going to see what was happening.
“I go to tell them to stop and when I go over there to see what they’re barking at, I’m like, that’s a funny-looking dog,” she joked in the TikTok.
“I go over to the bear, I look it in the eyes, and the first thing I think to do is push it. Push a bear. Push an apex predator.”
Honestly, this level of complete disregard for your own life is the most Gen-Z thing I’ve ever seen. We love throwing ourselves into reckless situations with a complete disregard for our own wellbeing xoxo.
Anyway, Hailey is officially braver than the US Marines and I would trust her with my life.
