Watch: Young Liberals Go On Blind Dates With Young Labor, Awkwardness Ensues

In a concept so fully formed the only scope for improvement would be implementing the Dating Naked model, Vice Australia attempts to determine if the notion that “opposites attract” is true of dating and relationships or just something that gross old men with dandruff say to young women by setting up a series of blind dates between ideologically opposed uni students.  

Matthew, 21, and Deborah, 18, both major in politics at Melbourne Uni and go bowling. While Jack, 21, and Bridget, 20, eat pizza together. All appears civil but by the time Matt and Deborah’s discussion on bumper bars and gutters devolves into an extended metaphor for the welfare system it becomes apparent that no one had the sex that night.
