Breakups, they’re never easy.
Regardless of whether you’re a 5-year-old ending it with the Prep class bad boy JB or a 55-year-old gearing up for a divorce, calling it quits with a lover is rarely fun.

Not all breakup methods are created equal. Some people do it in person. Others do it over the phone. The most savage and brazenly millennial way of calling it a day? Via a Spotify playlist.
19-year-old Kirsten Titus had been on a few dates with fellow Brigham Young Uni student, 20-year-old Wyatt Hall. They had some fun times but after a few dates, Titus realised they were probably better off as friends.
Caught in that awkward ‘We’re not officially dating but we’ve come too far for me to just smoke bomb’ phase, Titus cut the cord the only logical way; through a music streaming service.
Her little sister dobbed her in by screenshotting and posting the playlist to Twitter, in true little sister fashion:
So my sister has gone on a couple of dates with a guy named Wyatt but she likes someone else so she made him a Spotify playlist and… pic.twitter.com/kJmgrUBwqb

The playlist is nothing short of genius, with every song’s title working in unison to spell out the following:
“Do you… Still want to kiss me because I am kinda lovin someone else but we can still be friends.”

Twitter fired back a range of responses, from admiration to… admiration:
@zadarayne She’s so extra I love it

If this is any indication of dating in 2017, folks, we’re in for an interesting one.
