WATCH: Sydney Dude Camps Out For 17 Days For iPhone 6s

There are tech tragics, and then there’s Lindsay Handmer, the man who’s camping out in front of the George St Apple Store for 17 days to be the first person in Australia to get his hands on the new iPhone 6s.
We had to find out what makes a guy like this tick, and when we spoke to him, we discovered that the tech writer and entrepreneur is doing it all for a damn good cause – to raise money for Mission Australia.
The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus launch on September 25, and as soon as he gets his hands on one, Lindsay plans to auction it off and donate the proceeds to help the estimated 100,000 Australians currently facing homelessness.
Lindsay is also hoping to draw attention to his newly-launched site, MySpareTech, which is designed to help you get your extra phones and gadgets off your hands.
This bloody legend / maniac has 13 days left to camp out in front of the Apple Store – go give him a shout, or if you can’t make it to George St, you can make a donation to the cause via his crowd-funding page.
