The latest dickhead-of-the-century is this fucking guy:
He decided it would be a great, super respectful idea to go HAM on Victorian journalist Maggie Raworth, a TV reporter for 9 News. She was filming outside of Ballarat Court when this bloke pulled over in his car, got out and started yelling shit at her.
His point? Apparently journos are lying pieces of shit and therefore he felt obligated to start verbally abusing one. COOOOOL.
Maggie – fucking legend that she is – obtained the filmed footage and posted it on her Facebook publicly. SHAME THIS MOTHERFUCKER, MAGGIE.
Not only did this dude think it was cool to say shit like “You chose to be a journalist, there’s a million and one jobs in this world and you chose to be a lying piece of shit for a living” and “take a look at this I make ten times the fucking money you do, get a real job”, he also – in true gross-dude style – decided to talk shit about Maggie’s body.
“Give it five fucking years and you’ll be out of a job, all wrinkled up and shit. I mean, you’re already getting fat and shit so fuck,” the delightful guy rants on.
As almost any woman would know, this is not a surprising occurrence. We all cop abuse almost daily from fuckers who think it’s their intrinsic right and duty to tell us we look fat, don’t smile enough, should sit on their dick… whatever. And as Maggie told news.com.au, in her job it’s even more frequent.
“It happens all the time, every TV journalist can say that happens to them almost on a daily basis. I get yelled at from cars all the time, it’s just part of the job,” she told the news outlet.
“Nobody deserves to be spoken to like that and you shouldn’t just have to accept people speaking to you in that manner.”
