Uber’s Picking Up Your ‘Clothes To Donate To Red Cross’ Pile This Sunday

No doubt all of us have a heap of unworn clothing floating around, and donating it is one of those things that’s always at the back of your mind but is easily forgotten because we’re selfish human beings etc etc etc.
Well, the good folk over at Uber have partnered with Australian Red Cross to make it *super* bloody easy for us all to do the right thing, by coming around to physically pick up the clothing and accessories you’re willing to donate.
Between 11am – 4pm this Sunday, 31 January, drivers in nine cities will happily come to your place and collect pre-loved items you’ve bagged up to drop-off at a local Red Cross shop – free of charge and free of effort (on your part).
If you’re in the Uber app, just slide across to the ‘CLOTHING DRIVE‘ option hit ‘Request’
and a car will arrive to collect your items.
How bloody good is that?!
Few things to remember before you get bagging.
– Only donate quality clothing and gifts that are saleable: no one wants your deodorant-stained Bonds singlet.
– All items must be bagged for drivers to accept your donation.
– Vehicles can’t be left unattended so please bring your bagged donations to your driver when they arrive.
