Coming out the closet can be really, really scary. Even in 2015, unfortunately sometimes you’re just not sure how the person on the other side will react.
Thankfully, there are mums’ like this in the world, who are completely chill AF and give people hope that when they choose to come out, it will be received with kindness and love.
According to the original Tumblr post, the daughter is a former American soldier, and her mum is a church minister. Bri, the daughter, spoke to The Huffington Post about the video:
“I want people to take away the fact that they should accept their kids. Give them a reason to not be afraid of telling you what’s up. Keep those lines of communication open because different reactions are really unfortunate and different people do different things when they’ve been rejected.”
