This Gross Lump Just Washed Up In Indonesia & No-One’s 100% Sure What It Is

WARNING: This article contains extremely gross images of a decaying SOMETHING. Faint-stomached friends, now’s your chance to click away.

As though the sea hadn’t impressed upon us the full extent of its horrors with that revolting digging clam (and the unfortunately fondled shark-friend), here’s another grody missive from the deep: a giant, wobbly carcass has washed into a bay in Indonesia, and no-one is totally sure exactly what it bloody is.

The gelatinous mass turned up at Hulung Beach on Seram Island on Tuesday, where local Asrul Tuanakota found it; he says he initially thought it was a boat.
After another local posted several disturbing images to Facebook, the internet was quick to spread the news of the unidentified, 15 metre-long cadaver.

(Same, @mulderofficial.)
While at first the Bloody Snot Pile from Below was thought to be a giant squid, now Indonesian officials are saying it’s “most likely” a sperm whale. To which I say: most likely?! Most likely is not good enough!
Is it a kraken? A kaiju? The Loch Ness monster? An alien? A squid? A whale?
…A squale?
All I know is that the ocean is definitely a portal to the Bad Dimension from Event Horizon and we should never, EVER GO IN IT.
