Global arbiters of obscene wealth, Forbes, have released their 29th annual compendium of the world’s richest dicks: a record ledger of 1,826 billionaires with an aggregate net worth of a casual $7.05 trillion, lead for the 16th time in 21 years by the PC’s greatest advocate Bill Gates, who boasts an estimated wealth of $79.2 billion USD.

“The total includes 290 newcomers, 71 of whom hail from China. Youth are on the rise: A record 46 among the ranks are under age 40. Carlos Slim Helu [$77.1 billion] of Mexico comes in again at No. 2 while revered American investor Warren Buffett [$72.7 billion] took back the No. 3 spot from Spain’s Amancio Ortega (now No. 4). [Zara founder, 64.5 billion]“
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, 30, jumped up five spots to enter the Top 20 for the first time with a cool net worth of $44.8 billion. The founders and first employee of novelty-fond taxi app Uber also warrant a mention for their inclusion on the list with an estimated worth of $5.3 billion and $1.4 billion respectively, as do the co-founders of ephemeral sexting service turned broadcasting platform, Snapchat.
Evan Spiegel and his business partner Bobby Murphy famously turned down a $3 billion offer from Zuckerberg in 2013 and are now reportedly getting offers that value the company at an estimated $19 billion. Forbes also estimates Spiegel is worth $1.5 billion.
