The Dude That Created Cronuts Has Now Made Cheese Icecream


Dominique Ansel has done another thing. He did a thing again. 
Ansel is a well-known pastry chef, who fronts the Dominique Ansel Kitchen in New York City. He is credited with the creation of one of your favourite things ever: the cronut. 
It’s only going to be well-received by fans of the sweet/salty mix, because it’s cheese soft serve ice cream. We shit you not. 
The concoction is a buratta soft serve, with balsamic caramel and strawberry confit. Buratta, if you’re unaware, is a delightful Italian fresh cheese made from mozzarella and cream. 
The other flavoured pictured is a little less ~kooky~, being a gianduja flavour (fancy Nutella) with salted hazelnut brittle, orange mist and sea salt. 
Don’t lie… you’re intrigued. If the popularity of cronuts is anything to go by, cheesy soft serve will be in every cafe in Australia by the end of the year, and you’ll look like this:
