We told y’all earlier about Kanye West‘s lyric that included a pretty heavy line about Taylor Swift, and how her brother was not impressed in the slightest about it
(The lyric reads, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, Why? I made that bitch famous.“)
So, new development: Swift’s representation gave a statement to Billboard, explaining how Taylor felt about it. They said that Kanye actually asked permission, but T-Swift disliked it and warned him against using it.
The statement reads as follows:
“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account.

She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.

Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, “I made that bitch famous.’”
Oh man, Yeezy. Why?
