Surprise! In-N-Out Pop-Up Already Sold Out, Maniacs Lined Up From 6am

To absolutely no surprise whatsoever, In-N-Out‘s pop-up in Sydney today has already sold out of burgers.

Queues for the cult California burger chain’s pop-up at Darlinghurst joint Dead Ringer started from the ungodly hour of 6am, with at least 100 people rocking up by 10am.
This is wildly unsurprising news, based on the critical levels of frothing we all experienced yesterday, but SHIT, Sydney. You know how to commit.

In fact, In-N-Out had sold out of their 300 quota by at 11:10am. Like their pop-ups in previous years, they adopted a one-burger-per-person policy and handed out wristbands to enforce it. No wristband, no burger, and those were gone a full 45 minutes before it even opened.

Look, we’re not judging anyone’s choice to line-up for 2+ hours for a burger – we’re as thirsty for In-N-Out as the best of them – but WTF. All they have to do is so much as whiff in our direction and we perform the gastronomical equivalent of a panty drop.

^^^ Sydney right now.

It’s confirmed: Australians are fucking mad for it, which really only begs the question as to why, for the love of all that is holy, have they not opened up here yet? 10/10 would support.

“Hello? In-N-Out HQ? Yeah, we’ve got a proposition we’d like to discuss… “

URGENT UPDATE ABOUT 2 SECONDS AFTER POSTING:

Sam Frost apparently paid for everyone’s burger. Straight-up Aussie legend.
