Chuck Your Thinking Caps On For Splendour’s Massively Packed Forum Lineup

Splendour In The Grass is a whole hive of activity that extends so much further than the main stages and all the huge acts that belt out the hits on them, my friends. From yoga workshops, to live art, to late-night jam sessions, Splendour has just something for just about everyone, really.

Every year, the festival runs a couple of big tents that are bursting with ideas and conversations, known as Splendour Comedy ClubThe Science Tent, and Splendour Forum.

It’s where you can drop by if you need a sit-down and a bit of a culture sesh to challenge your mind, and this year’s thought-provoking, side-splitting lineup is sure to get you out of your head a little bit.

Splendour Forum is once again bringing back the annual Q&A with Tony Jones, as well as panel discussions from Tracey SpicerHenry Rollins, and Stella Donnelly, interviews by Marc Fennell with Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES and Franz Ferdinand‘s Alex Kapranos, as well as Marieke Hardy‘s Morning Book Club and  showings of Her Sound, Her Story and new TV series Deadlock.

If you’re more into learning about things and stuff and how things work and “what the hell is this stuff?”, The Science Tent is serving up a whole petri dish full of interesting talks and demos, from learning the science behind fermented treats like kombucha and kraut, to visiting the stars with Prof. Alan Duffy, there’s plenty of mind-bending happening in the massive festival lab.

And finally, ifyou wanna laugh so hard you might just wee a little bit, the Splendour Comedy Club is your #1 go-to. Take some time away from the crowds to have a giggle with acts like Aunty DonnaBecky LucasDemi LardnerAaron ChenMatt OkineSam TauntonTom WalkerMichelle Brasier, and many more.

The full schedule of events and times are over on the Splendour website, so figure out what you don’t wanna miss and pray to God it doesn’t clash with anything else.
