Shannon Noll On Drug Charges After Police Search Uncovers ‘White Powder’

Shannon Noll was arrested and charged with a drug offense on Thursday  after allegedly being caught with a bag of ‘white powder’ following a search by a police dog squad.

The singer-songwriter was at the Caringbah Hotel in Sydney‘s south when the incident occurred, and officials have since confirmed the arrest of a 42-year-old man on the night.

Per reports in the Daily Telegraph, a representative for NSW Police said the man was taken in after “allegedly being detected with white powder, believed to be cocaine.”

The police source continued:

“About 8.15pm yesterday (Thursday 13 September 2018), officers from the Sutherland Shire Police Area Command along with Public Transport & Public Safety Command and the Dog Unit, were conducting a drug operation at a licensed premises on Port Hacking Road at Caringbah.”

“A 42-year-old man was arrested by police after allegedly being detected with white powder, believed to be cocaine. The man was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 11 October 2018, for the offence of possess prohibited drug.”

In January of 2017, Shannon Noll was arrested and charged over the assault of a bouncer outside the Crazy Horse strip club in Adelaide.

He made headlines again this July, when footage went viral that showed him ranting angrily at an audience member at the Duck Creek Picnic Races, after a beer can was thrown at him on stage.
