Shannon Noll Still Wants To “Bash The Piss” Out Of That Beer Can-Thrower

One week on from the rant that saw him unleash on an unruly audience member, your boy Shannon Noll has let fly again, telling a crowd on the Gold Coast that he wished he’d taken a pop at the “wanker” who threw a can at him while he was performing.

“I want to thank everybody for coming out tonight. It’s been a tough week to be a Shannon Noll supporter,” he told the cheering crowd at the Parkwood Tavern. Though he previously apologised for his rant, it quickly became clear he’s still holding on to a bit of stuff.

Explaining that he was upset because he felt like “400 cans” had been tossed at him on the night, he said:

“I want to make one thing clear. I didn’t mean any offence to women at all in saying what I said to that little wanker. I was just trying to belittle the little prick because no one was doing anything … I would like to bash the piss out of the wanker.”

Last weekend, a video of Shannon Noll’s performance at the Duck Creek Picnic Races went viral after he was shown berating a “fuckhead” in the audience, calling him a “cheap shot prick” and offering the crowd $100 to punch him.

Yesterday, it was revealed that the singer’s rant had cost him a gig at a rodeo in Mount Isa, with organisers concerned that he would pose a threat to the “family-friendly” vibe of the event and saying “it’s not something we’re prepared to take the risk with.”
