Australian cricket legend and consistently questionable bloke Shane Warne has been accused of hitting a British glamour model in the face during an argument at a London nightclub.
The model, a 30-year-old woman named Valerie Fox, posted several updates on her situation via Twitter, including a bruise on her face.
Absolutely traumatised by tonight’s events, being a victim of assault is horrible and I thank the @metpoliceuk for their help & support.

While she hasn’t named Warne publicly, tabloid newspaper The Sun alleges that witnesses saw him and Fox in an argument at a club called Loulou’s in Mayfair, a central suburb of London.
According to The Sun, those witnesses saw Fox fall to the floor holding her face.
And no, I’m not lying. Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you can hit women and get away with it. pic.twitter.com/dk7PPhTiCg

Fox says that she’s lodged a criminal report with the police, who will be investigating the assault.
Scotland Yard released a statement confirming they were investigating an incident:
Detectives are investigating an allegation of assault alleged to have taken place in a nightclub on Hertford Street in Westminster in the early hours of Saturday. There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.
