Hey Ladies, Shane Warne is Officially On The Market Again

Dead-set bloody ripper Aussie legend, (possible) disco dancer and (confirmed) sweet romancer Shane Warne is officially a single man again, after announcing his split from girlfriend Emily Scott overnight on Twitter.

The erstwhile bowler, professional poker player, commentator, craft beer brewer, prolific text message-sender and Advanced Hair (yeah yeah) ambassador – jeez, this guy has a lot of strings to his bow – had been dating model and DJ Scott since May.

With Warne a sextuple threat (and counting), and Scott only having a modest two threats to her name, there was probably always going to be some degree of friction between the two.

There were some troubling signs beforehand, as indicated by this couch-bound Tweet, in which Warne turned to the soothing embrace of Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman …

The pair have known each-other for a decade, but started dating earlier this year after Scott DJ’d at one of his events. All we can say is chin up, Warney – if you need a commiserate with some drinks or a deep and meaningful, give us a shout.

Instead of being sad, let’s use this occasion to celebrate the fact that Shane Warne is adding a seventh threat to his roster by becoming Australia’s king of dad tweets:
