Today is a banner day. I am being discharged from the care of an incredible team of nurses and techs and a visionary Dr. who believes in my healing as much as I do. This has been a process. And will continue to be one. I am immunocompromised for next three months at least. So no kisses please. I wanted to make sure any complications that might arise here were my private space. And we got through brilliantly. I thank you all for your love and support and that extra dose of great with a @people cover. I see things so much more clearly now. And I am excited to share this journey when I am ready. For now, I have recovery. And a great @the_alinker_world so I gotta split. Bye!!!!!! This is the best gift I could give to Arthur. #newimmunesystem #whodis? ????

Hairloss is a common side effect of the extreme MS treatment Blair is currently undergoing. This is one of the many different treatments she’s received for the disease since her diagnosis in August 2018.

Her post went on to thank friends, family and fans for their “love and support” throughout her journey.

Although she’s out of the hospital, it’s no walk in the park for the Hellboy actress who will be immunocompromised for at least the next three months. So if everyone can just give the woman some space so she doesn’t get any of your germs, that would be great.

The actress, who has played everyone from Kris Jenner (The People vs OJ Simpson) to Vivienne Kensington (Legally Blonde), bravely shared her MS diagnosis last year. Blair announced her diagnosis on Instagram while discussing her work on the Netflix series ‘Another Life’:

“I have #multiplesclerosis. I am in an exacerbation. By the grace of the lord, and will power and the understanding producers at Netflix, I have a job. A wonderful job. I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken GPS. But we are doing it. And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do precisely but I will do my best.”

Blair opened up about her journey in a PEOPLE interview earlier this week. She discussed how quickly her symptoms came on after the initial diagnosis and how friends like Sarah Michele Gellar (yep, Buffy) and Jaimie King have supported her.

There is currently no cure for the debilitating disease that affects 2.3 million people worldwide.
