Rolf Harris Has Been Stripped Of His Order Of Australia


Several months after he was jailed on 12 counts of indecent assault, disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris has officially been stripped of his membership in the Order Of Australia.
Harris held the titles of Officer and Member in the Order Of Australia, but per reports in SBS News, the Governor General has officially terminated both appointments. 
In June of last year, Harris was sentenced to five years and nine months behind bars, for the assaults of four young women in the U.K. between the years of 1968 and 1986.

Since his sentencing, Harris has been stripped of various other honours, including the ARIA Hall Of Fame Award he received in 2008, and his BAFTA fellowship.
