The world premiere of Star Wars story ‘Rogue One’ has happened in Los Angeles, and if you were wary of a “side-quel” Star Wars story getting all fucked up – don’t stress.
While many were nervous of Rogue One‘s ability to tell a story we all already know the end to (it’s set just before ‘A New Hope’), it turns out that the reactions to ‘Rogue One’ are exceedingly positive. Like, super dooper positive.
While official reviews of the full film are under embargo until 14th of December (the release of the film is the 15th), we’re getting snippets from those lucky enough to see the film early.

Chris Taylor, the author who write the completely excellent Star Wars novel, ‘How Star Wars Conquered the Universe’ said that the film was:
“Heart-stopping and dark. Like darker than Empire Strikes Back dark.”
