NSW Police have discovered the body of missing Penrith woman Preethi Reddy in a suitcase left inside a car parked in Sydney‘s inner suburbs.

In a statement, law enforcement authorities said officers located a 32-year-old’s body around 9:30 last night in Strachan Lane, Kingsford.

The discovery comes after a three-day search effort for Reddy, who had spent the past few days in St Leonards to attend a dental industry conference.

ABC reports the last known images of Reddy were captured at a George Street McDonald’s in Sydney’s CBD at around 2:15am on Sunday, only a few hours after the conclusion of the Mardi Gras parade.

The footage, shared by police, shows Reddy wearing a dark green long-sleeve shirt, dark pants, and flat black shoes.

Reddy left the restaurant and headed south in the direction of Market Street.

She spoke to her family around 11am on Sunday, but they raised the alarm when she did not return home.

Investigations are ongoing. Anyone with information on the matter has been urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
