Through their noble endeavours into the experimental side of quantum pizza mechanics, Pizza Hut’s attempts to improve upon the closest thing we have to a perfect food item have thus far yielded inventive hybrid offerings such as pizza crusts stuffed with cheeseburgers and hot dogs, and they aren’t about to stop now.
In an Australian first, The Hut has teamed up with the reason your fingers are now caked in orange Cheese Supreme dust, Doritos, to unleash upon the world the Doritos Crunchy Crust Pizza, a product whose very consumption can apparently be heard from three kilometres away (verification required).
“As you bite into the crust you’ll be blown away by the crunch –-it’s not only seriously loud, but delicious,” Pizza Hut Australia Head of Marketing and Crunch Innovation Fatima Syed said.
The add-on, available with any pizza you like, is comprised of mozzarella cheese, Doritos Original crunchy corn chips and tasty cheddar cheese around the edges, is pretty much a Liz Lemon super food:
