Pedestrian Goes Head to Head with Channel 9 and Foxtel

Nothing’s worse than self-aggrandising companies that insist on tooting their own horn – it’s just tacky. Except when it’s YOUR company amirite!! Pedestrian has been listed as a finalist in the Media Brand Of The Year category for the 2012 Mumbrella Awards, run by online publisher dedicated to all things media, marketing & entertainment, Mumbrella. We’re the David in a category of some Goliaths of the Australian media sphere, as you can see in the shortlist:

Foxtel (cable, satellite and broadband distribution giant, also offers products, Foxtel Magazine and info kiosks)
Kidspot (massively successful online directory for Australian parents acquired by News Limited in June 2011)
Powered by Nine (the Nine Network Australia, ACP Magazines and Ticketek all fall under this umbrella)
Pedestrian.tv (LOL. 13 lowlifes trying to get paid without offending anyone too much.)
