It’s damn hard to forget who Corey Worthington is – one half of Australia was cackling along and referring to him as an Australian hero, and the other half wanted to throttle him for being such an embarrassing, reckless little shithead.
Now, the yellow sunglassed idiot is apologising to his Dad approximately 7 years late – by giving him a gift with RedBalloon.
He and his Dad star in a new commercial for the ‘gift experience’ company, which boasts that you can clean the slate, and right the wrongs you’ve done to your poor, poor Dad over the years by buying him a dope pressie for Father’s Day.
Isn’t it fantastic to see he’s traded the yellow hair, sunglasses and bare chest, for a clean shirt and a half sleeve? And let’s face it – if Corey can get away with buying Dad a little aeroplane flight to say sorry for all the havoc, media coverage, and physical, financial and emotional damage he caused, your Father’s Day gift will look like a bloody Ferrari in comparison.
