Prior to inhabiting the plush digs that we now call home, Pedestrian HQ was a crack den of an office with desktops bolstered on either side by milk crates and cartons of V Energy Drink. Whether it was destitute or DIY is debatable but upon seeing the offices of Amsterdam based creative agency Nothing – I’m fondly reminded of the unconventional furniture in our “size of a cardboard box” office. Now we have a ping pong table so I don’t miss the old days too much.
From the tables, shelves, beams and even stairs the Nothing offices are composed almost entirely of cardboard. A cheap, light and visually refreshing alternative to the industrial sheen of most office spaces.
